I love Book of Mormon and can testify that it is the truest book in the world. Every scripture written in the Book of Mormon is very strong and powerful that can help us to grow spiritually. I learned so many things reading the book. One of the most important thing I learned is how to pray and the importance of daily prayers. Our Heavenly father always wants to hear how can he help us, as Gordon B. Hinckley said "Never assume that you are can make it alone. You need the help of the Lord. Never hesitate to get on your knees in some private place and speak with Him. What a marvelous and wonderful thing is prayer. Think of it, we can actually speak with our Father in Heaven.” I always turn to my dear Heavenly father when I am confused and want to receive guidance and revelation in my life, because if we pray with all our heart, love and faith, I can testify our prayers are answered by our Heavenly father.
As one of my favorite scripture says "Cry unto God for all thy support; yea, let all thy doings be unto the Lord, and whithersoever thou goest let it be in the Lord; yea, let all thy thoughts be directed unto the Lord; yea, let the affections of thy heart be placed upon the Lord forever. Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day”(Alma 37:36–37).
