Elder J. Cherry

One of my favorite scriptures in the Book of Mormon is Alma 28:14 "And thus we see the great call of diligence of men to labor in the vineyards of the Lord; and thus we see the great reason of sorrow, and also of rejoicing - sorrow because of death and destruction among men, and joy because of the light of Christ unto life. The reason I love this scripture is because of how motivating it is for me. The world today is so loud and so crazy and people have lost sight of our Savior. They've forgotten what it feels like to feel of his love and the light He can bring into our lives. This is why I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to work in the Lord's vineyard and to help people feel the light of Christ in their life. There is true joy and peace to be felt in this crazy world, and that comes only in and through our Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that He does live and His arms are continually extended towards us. He wants to help us and make our lives better. We just have to put forth the effort to reach out and He will take care of the rest. He has blessed my life and I promise he can bless yours.
